Dr. Roksana Badruddoja, a second-generation Bangladeshi-American, is a trained sociologist from Rutgers University. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Women's Studies Program at California State University-Fresno. Her research about how race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, culture, and religion work among South Asian Americans has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including National Women Studies Association Journal, International Journal of Sociology of the Family, and International Review of Modern Sociology. She is currently working on an anthology entitled Brown Souls.
